Once again, Chuck Hutchings, COCC’s Associate Professor of Spanish, is planning the Culinary Institute’s annual visit to Spain March 18 - 28, 2008 via Gobal Education Tours.
The trip itinerary includes Madrid and Bilbao. One highlight of the trip will be the days in Bilbao. This year cooking classes in Basque cuisine are planned for students. Chuck, on an exploratory trip to the Basque region of Spain, found the region very interested in promoting culinary tourism.
Along with all the museums, cathedrals and castles to visit, we hope to visit wineries, food production facilities and culinary schools in the area.
